My Firefox toolbar has disappeared, along with the internet options where I can block or allow cookies. I am truly unhappy. This happens every time you upgrade. I love Firefox, but if I cannot get my toolbar back , I switching to another browser. Believe me, I have tried all the options you give for restoring the toolbar, some of which I can’t even get to without the toolbar. I even tried downloading an earlier version, but couldn’t do that. Will you please quit playing around with a good product??????? We don’t want an upgraded version, it never works!

I suggest you to disable auto update
      Go go Options> Advanced> Update
Choose “Never check for updates (not recommended:security risk)” and click “OK”.

Don’t get hooked on FF browser as I did. I loved FF and been using it since the day Firefox was born. BUT now the newer browsers don’t like XP. None of the newer ones will open after installation – even after completely uninstalling and deleting every trace of the prior Firefox. I’ve been reading many other users been having the same problem. There are no error messages so the whole thing is a puzzle, and a waste of time.
